We are located on the traditional unceded, and unsurrendered territories of the Anishinaabek and Haudenosaunee, who have inhabited and cared for these lands since time immemorial. We take this time to express our gratitude and respect to them and to the land for all that it has provided and will continue to provide. We acknowledge the history, the on-going impacts, and systems of colonialism. We are committed to learning more to promote healing and resilience as we move forward in true reconciliation. We are dedicated to building a future and community that is better for all.

❖ Hello Track and Field team. Don't forget you have lunch plans tomorrow. That's right... we are meeting in the health room at the beginning of lunch to go over important information for our track meet this Friday.
❖ Under rain and cold conditions, the senior boys soccer team came out triumphant over Sainte Marie Rivière last night. Owen Meaney's free kick was too much for the keeper as it was top right bin out of his reach. That strike set the Blazers up for success early in the match. Santiago Sakson left the crowd speechless after tucking in a ball off the bottom right pos- in amongst tons of defensive traffic. The back line held true to form and defended most opportunities that SMR had. Clean sheet by AJ Carscallen and Grant Newman.
❖ Thank you to all our Road Race volunteers for helping ensure an amazing event yesterday afternoon. You represented Bayridge well to our visiting athletes, coaches, their families, and the community. Well done team!
❖ The Junior Girls had an awesome home game last night against Holy Cross. Despite the rain, your blazers held it together and showed true resilience! Despite a 5-2 loss, with two incredible goals from Olivia Spada (one off a corner kick!!) and some stellar goalkeeping from Jamie Held and Addy Swaine, this game showed just how strong our team has gotten. Keep it up girls, you're making us proud!
