We are located on the traditional unceded, and unsurrendered territories of the Anishinaabek and Haudenosaunee, who have inhabited and cared for these lands since time immemorial. We take this time to express our gratitude and respect to them and to the land for all that it has provided and will continue to provide. We acknowledge the history, the on-going impacts, and systems of colonialism. We are committed to learning more to promote healing and resilience as we move forward in true reconciliation. We are dedicated to building a future and community that is better for all.

Congratulations to everyone participating in the Boys’ Basketball program, for their four big wins at the Napanee tournament on Friday. In Junior action the day started off with a career high twenty-six point performance for Matthew Edmunds against the host Golden Hawks, saw the Blazers win their middle game by nineteen points over a scrappy St. Theresa team and then the team finished the day with a huge forty point advantage against Madawaska Valley. In addition to Matthew Edmunds, Jackson Burtch and Aushton Fontanilla took home player of the game honors for the Blazers. In Senior action the Blazers mounted an eight-point come from behind victory over Madawaska Valley to start the day with veterans Aiden Farrington and Kaleb Hartley pulling the Blazers out of a first half hole. In the middle game the Blazers fought a tough St. Theresa team for four quarters before dropping the decision. In the finale the Blazers battled back-and-forth with the host Golden Hawks. Both teams had small leads in the dying minutes but it was the Blazers, on the strength of an incredible thirty-eight point effort from Nathan Arnott who came away with the win 64-58. Congratulations Boys Basketball!!
