The Grade 10 Civics and Grade 12 World Issues classes were excited to get the opportunity to meet and have a question/answer session with MP Mark Gerretsen on Wednesday, March 4th. An engaging discussion ensued from the varied questions asked. Some surrounding such local issues of the ALTO High Speed train, LaSalle Causeway and Kingston Transit to the national issue of Clean Water for Indigenous Communities. MP Gerretsen also took the time to discuss the current turmoil in the middle east. They produced some of their own inspiring solutions to bring more hope in the world.
