Blazers, Data Verification forms were re-printed on November 10th and given out to the 341 students that forgot to hand them in in September. Once again, only a small amount of those 341 students have handed them back in to homeroom teachers. Can you please give those forms to your parents or guardians to edit & sign and then give them to your homeroom teachers the next day. These forms show us who should and should not be on your contact list as well as your Freedom of Information selections. If forms are not handed in, then the next step is calling home to ask your parent or guardian to get the form from you.

PINK Shirt Day is today! We wear pink today to stand against bullying!  We encourage you to join student council at lunch to add to our ROCK Reflection banner in the main foyer.  Pink hearts will also be available to show your support that bullying has no role in society!  To round off Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week, today we are looking at kindness to honour our final rock philosophy characteristic. What does kindness mean to you? Kindness at Bayridge means lifting other people up not putting them down, and putting yourself in other peoples shoes. It is unbelievable how much better your day can be when kindness is part of it!

Today is our vaccine clinic! We have flu vaccines and covid vaccines. You can get one or both! It's up to you! We have private rooms for people to come get their shots. For those that get them there will be stickers and lollipops! Plus get entered into a draw for Bayridge swag! Listen for announcements for when you can come down and get your shots! It also runs through lunch! No parent or guardian consent needed! Just bring your health card number! Protect yourself and others! See you there blazers!

The top tier Bayridge Rocket League team continued to be on fire, going 3-0 for the 3rd straight week in Ontario league play.  That means the terrible trio of Jacob Ewing, Caleb Thompson, and Owen Swaine go into this weekend’s Provincial Championships as the number 1 seed!  Can they keep the undefeated streak alive and bring home a Provincial title in the Diamond+ division to go along with their National one?  Only time will tell!  In the Platinum minus division, the all-grade-9 team of Milo Zelmanovits, Jonathan Sponholz-Ruskin, and Evan Taillefer went 2-1 last night and will look to upset some teams in their provincials draw, while the 3rd team of Zach Philpott, Owen Robb, Miguel Borjas, and Conor Bridges will try to do the same!  Good luck to all!

The next eSports season is Super Smash Bros!  Interested in getting involved?  See Mr. Runions!
