About Us

All students in front of school
Welcome to Bayridge Secondary School, home of the Blazers. At Bayridge, our staff believe in and have a responsibility toward our students and one another. We are large enough to offer a diverse program to all students regardless of their intended pathway beyond secondary school, and yet we are small enough to ensure each student feels well connected to the school. We promote a spirit of belonging within an inclusive, diverse and balanced environment that models the qualities of respect, optimism, courage and kindness (Bayridge ROCKs).

Our school offers a wide variety of programs including Advanced Placement, Alternative Education, Co-Operative Education, Dual Credits, Focus Programs, International Education, Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programs, and Specialist High Skills Major. We are equipped with a cooking/hospitality facility, video editing suite, drama, art and photography rooms and wood shop.

We feel that at the centre of this responsibility rests a commitment to the principles of success, community, and tradition. We believe in supporting students in their academic and personal achievements, balancing educational and personal priorities, developing a safe and positive learning environment, and encouraging professional growth through creative and reflective practice.
