We’ve had a busy and exciting time lately, full of celebratory events and extra-curriculars! Our Community Food Drive was amazing; thanks to all volunteers and community members who contributed 2835 lbs of food to Partners in Mission Foodbank. You make us proud!

During the potential inclement weather months (roughly early November to early April), our transportation partner, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services (Tri-Board), works closely with their school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school transportation on inclement weather days.

This empowering event is designed for Black, Indigenous, and Racialized LDSB secondary school students to highlight diverse voices and break down barriers by showcasing successful Black, Indigenous, and Racialized professionals across a wide range of industries. Lunch and snacks provided.

We’ve enjoyed a fantastic last couple of weeks at Bayridge! Our recent Academic Awards Night was a wonderful celebration of student achievement and effort – thank you to everyone in our school community for their ongoing support of student learning and engagement.

Dear Grades 7-12 Families, You are invited to attend the Limestone District School Board’s (LDSB) Pathways to Possibility: LDSB Entrepreneur Information Night on October 15, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fractal Workspace (632 Fortune Crescent) in-person or online!

The Limestone District School Board is committed to fostering accessibility and inclusion for all. We are currently developing our next Multi-Year Accessibility Plan and invite feedback from students, staff, families, and community members.

On Wednesday October 15 from 3:45 to 7 PM, student and staff volunteers will be going door to door in our community to collect contributions in support of our annual Food Drive. All contributions will be donated to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.

Here are a few important updates for our school community: School-Day and Parent-Guardian Night Parent-Guardian Night is coming up on October 22nd, and appointments will be booked through School-Day starting Tuesday, October 14th.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are held annually on September 30. This day invites us to engage intentionally in learning about the Residential School System, and the true history of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.
